One of the highlights of my writing career was having my story “Siren Song” published in Fiddler’s Green. I’m excited to be a part of a virtual reading with two other writers featured in Tales From Fiddler’s Green, the magazine’s first all poetry and prose issue that was released this spring. The reading will be hosted by A Novel Idea on Saturday, August 14th at 2pm ET via Zoom. More info here!
I’m thrilled to offer a three-hour single session workshop through A Novel Idea: Witch 101!

I’m co-teaching Witch 101 with my fabulous witchy friend Ash Yezuita. Participants can expect an introduction into the world of magic and its connection to self-love and empowerment. Join us for three hours of lecture and learning about what making magic means.

“I’ve taken multiple writing workshops with Christina, and I’m always so impressed with the level of detail that goes into each one. Her mix of historical information, original texts, and modern retellings give a holistic approach to the stories we work with, and I always leave class with a better understanding of the topic. I also find her writing prompts extremely helpful, and her feedback is always thoughtful and constructive. I’ve written multiple pieces either in her workshops or in their immediate aftermath that have gone on to publication, and I believe that I leave her courses a better writer.” – Shaun
“Christina did an excellent job with Writing Feminist Fairy Tales. She curated an interesting variety of original tales along with modern retellings. The course structure of writing exercises and discussions was great for facilitating conversation as well as for generating ideas in our own writing. Christina created a friendly and supportive environment for everyone to feel comfortable with participating and workshopping their writing. I look forward to taking more classes with Christina.” – Caitlin
“Christina’s classes and workshops are well researched and expertly curated for the topic at hand. She spends time acquainting you with the subject matter before getting into how it can apply to writing. She provides a framework to examine your writing during in-class exercises but leaves you with plenty of things to explore well after the course is complete! I highly recommend taking any one of Christina’s writing classes as they are always well-presented, engaging, and just fun to take!” – Brenna
